Sony has unveiled the first pair of cameras (SLT-A55V and SLT-A33) that adopt Sony’s Translucent Mirror Technology, which the highest-level of phase-detect autofocus while shooting or recoring Full HD. The SLT A55 and SLT A33 offer a newly developed 15-point autofocus system is also included, with 16.2 and 14.2 Exmor APS HD CMOS sensors. Both feature 3-inch LCD with 920k-dot, full HD video recording, AUTO+ (Advanced Auto) mode , ISO sensitivity up to 12,800, 3D Sweep Panorama, Auto HDR and multi-frame noise reduction, while the A55 also features built-in GPS.

YouTube allow users upload video up to 15 minutes of fame.

YouTube announced that it has increased the maximum video length to 15 minutes for all users. The earlier limit on the site was 10 minutes. The move has been possible due to the Content ID system, which major movie studios, music labels and 1,000 other content owners use to keep pirated television shows and movies off the site.

Microsoft to release emergency patch for Windows shortcut hole

Microsoft plans to release a patch on Monday for an emergency fix a flaw involving incorrectly parsing shortcuts in a way that allows malicious code to be executed when the icon of a specially crafted shortcut is displayed.
As with many new attack techniques, copycat attackers have used .lnk files to exploit the vulnerability. The one family of viruses that used this techniques called Sality.AT and Sality.AT, according to Microsoft Malware Protection Center.
“Although there have been multiple families that have picked up this vector, one in particular caught our attention this week–a family named Sality, and specifically Sality.AT”
According to Microsoft Security Advisories, the affected versions of Windows include Windows 7, XP, Server 2003, Vista and Server 2008.
Kodak has introduced the world’s slimmest digital camera with 5x optical zoom, called the EasyShare M590. This camera boasts advanced features including Kodak’s Face Recognition and Kodak’s Smart Capture feature that helps them take better pictures automatically. The EasyShare M590 also features a Share button that makes tagging and uploading photos and video to social media sites like Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube.
