Toshiba has announced the world&#8217;s fastest SDHC UHS-I and the world&#8217;s first microSDHC compliant memory cards. The SDHC cards offer read speed of 95MB per second and a write speed of 80MB per second, there&#8217;re available in 32GB, 16GB and 8GB capacities. The microSDHC cards allow read and write speeds of up to 45MB/s and 20MB/s, and available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.<br />

The new card series will be featured at IFA 2010, in Berlin, Germany from September 3, and PHOTOKINA 2010, in Koln, Germany from September 21.</p>

<p>September 1, 2010, Saitama, Japan -President and CEO of the optical equipment manufacturer Tamron Co. Ltd., Morio Ono announced today the release of their latest offering, an aberration correction function for Adobe Systems Incorporated&#8217;s software. The lens profile provided by Tamron will be used to make the plug-in for digital image editing software, Adobe® Photoshop® CS5, Camera Raw® and the function for photo management software, Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 3.</p>
<p>The lens profile will include Tamron&#8217;s Di series (lenses for full size image sensors) and the Di II series (lenses for cameras with APS-C size image sensors) and will be used to create a plug-in bundled in the Camera Raw® 6.2 update and the function for Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 3.2. Tamron, utilizing design data, created this profile for image editing software that allows their customers to easily correct distortion, chromatic aberration, and peripheral brightness* for Di series and Di II series SLR lenses.</p>

Canon has announced the world’s largest CMOS image sensor with a size of 202 x 205 mm, the newly developed CMOS sensor is among the largest chips that can be produced from a 12-inch (300 mm) silicon wafer, and is about 40 times larger than Canon&#8217;s largest commercial CMOS sensor.<br />

The new CMOS sensor is also capable of recording video in very low-light environments. The sensor makes possible the image capture in one one-hundredth the amount of light required by a 35 mm full-frame CMOS sensor, facilitating the shooting of 60 frame-per-second video with a mere 0.3 lux of illumination.</p>

The Coolpix P7000 has 7.1X (28-200mm) lens, a higher sensitivity 10-megapixel CCD sensor, RAW photo shooting, 3” LCD screen (920k), and 720p 24fps video recording. The Nikon D7000 details are still comparatively light, but Nikon Rumors has suggested that it would boast 100% viewfinder coverage and dual memory card slots.</p>

The Garmin Edge 800 boasts a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with HotFix technology, which provides quickly acquires and maintains satellite reception, and support for a wide range of heart rate monitors, cadence sensors and other ANT+ devices.</p>
<p>The device will available in October and cost from $449 – $649 (depending on the bundle).</p>
